UNESCO recently recognised the group of 9 Romanesque-sytle churches located in Catalonia's Vall de Boí
(L'Alta Ribagorça - Spain)
in the heart of the Lleida Pyrenees (Spain) as a World Heritage Site.
The Diputació de Lleida (the province's regional council)
expressed its gratitude to the local people, organisations and institutions for their dedication and hard work collaborating in the conservation
and diffusion of this artistic ensemble.
The Diputació de Lleida also expressed its desire for all
of the world's citizens to discover this unique example of world heritage and to enjoy it to the full. |
