Church with a single nave, which no longer conserves its original chevet with three apses, covered by a barrel vault. The square bell tower is adjoined to the north wall and to the chevet with Lombard ornamentation in the form of arches and "saw tooth" motifs. Chequered pattern frieze and arches on the upper part of the north and south walls. Arcade protecting the façade.
Sculptural ornamentation on the façade with columns and capitals, archivolt with Romanesque chequered design ornamentation and monogram of Christ. Medieval wrought iron bolt. Baroque altarpieces dating from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
In 1983, it was restored and the roof was raised. In 1994, the bell tower was restored. In 2000, restoration work began on the church and its furnishings. This work was finished in 2002.
The church of La Nativitat de la Mare de Déu de Durro (Alta Ribagorça - Spain) was declared an Item of Cultural Interest in 1991.
It forms part of the Catalan Romanesque ensemble of the Vall de Boí, which was declared a
UNESCO World Heritage Site on 30th November, 2000.
