In 1995, the Patronat de Turisme of the Diputació de Lleida established the Premis Lleidatur (Lleidatur Awards)
in order to pay homage to work of the people, companies and institutions involved in the tourist sector of the Terres de Lleida (Lands of Lleida).
These awards are presented in the course of the celebrations that mark the Nit del Turisme de les Terres de Lleida; a gala event that is held once every two years.
