The small church of Sant Salvador can be found in the Plaça de l’Església of Concabella, near the castle. It is a building with a single nave and apse. The main door, which is set in the main facade, is a Romanesque work in the style of the Lleida School. The upper part is protected by an eave supported by decorated corbels. The porch consists of three poorly conserved arcades supported by three columns with decorated capitals.
Only a quarter of the apse is visible, with the rest being hidden by later constructions.
The interior of this church consists of a central nave with side chapels. Inside the building, there are no details to remind visitors of the Romanesque origins of the structure.
There is also a bracket-supported belfry. |
