Located at the entrance of the village, and on an elevated site, the remarkable Romanesque-style parish church of
Sant Just and Sant Pastor has a single nave, semicircular apse and Lombard-style windows and arcades. Its bell tower
has a square floor plan and three tiers, which are separated by arcades. Its windows are of the same typology as
those found in the Valley de Boí. Inside the building, there is an altarpiece created by the school of Francesc
Solives, a font decorated with bas-reliefs and a sarcophagus of medieval origin, which is also made of stone. The
pavement of the chancel is made of rounded stones. An old defensive tower forms an enclosure together with the
temple. This tower is now crowned by a small belfry. |
