This museum, located inside the bishop’s palace of Solsona, contains important Romanesque remains including paintings of Sant Quirze de Pedret, the altarpiece of Sant Jaume de Frontanyà and outstanding examples of Gothic and Renaissance art and craftsmanship.


It is particularly important to highlight the hall dedicated to salt sculptures from the salt mountain at Cardona.
