This example of 11th century Lombard Romanesque architecture can be found about 4 km along the road leading from Solsona to Berga (C-26). It comprises a single nave covered by a barrel vault. The square-plan bell-tower has four Roman arch windows, under which there is moulded loophole decoration.
Under the altar, it is important to highlight the crypt dedicated to Saint Mary , formed by three small naves supported by six columns, which are all different from each other. Access is via a central stairway, although to either side of this stairway it is possible to see the original access of five-step stairs that has been conserved. |
