There is a forest track leading off to the left 1,500 m along the road from Sant Llorenç de Morunys to Solsona via the Jou pass. This track is the route to the Lord shrine and 500 m along it, visitors will pass in front of the Sant Serni church.

The church has a single nave and semi-circular apse. Its adornment consists of a combination of regular and irregular rows of mallet-broken stone. In some sections, the stone is coarse, while in others it is fine and slim. The interior of the church is covered by a barrel vault. The building dates from the 11th-12th century.
