The church of Santa Maria, which is of Romanesque origin, is the most emblematic building in the village. The only remnant of the original medieval church is the
Romanesque-style monumental portal, which is a work belonging to the Escola Lleidatana.
The square-plan bell-tower represents the transition between the Romanesque and Gothic styles and adds special character on account of its evident inclination. In 1976, it was
declared a Work of National Cultural Interest (BCIN) as part of a larger group of buildings.
