The Camí Natural del Riu Segre i Utxesa (River Segre and Utxesa Nature Trail) connects two spaces
of great natural value; the stretch of the river Segre that passes through Torres de Segre and the Utxesa reservoir.
These are two wetland areas of great natural interest that lie in the middle of the Lleida plain. It is therefore
important to make sure that they are available to as many people as possible and to allow everyone the
possibility of discovering the value of the: vegetation, fauna, agriculture, architectural heritage, etc of this
part of western Catalonia. With this in mind, the environmental education activities and guided visits have
been organised so that they can be enjoyed by absolutely everyone.
The trail is 13 km long and is very flat. The majority of the observation points are at ground level. The information point is
easily accessible for everyone and one of the two toilets has been specially adapted for people with reduced mobility.
There is also a shelter where it is possible to make meals or enjoy short stays which also offers easy access and adapted toilet facilities.
Come and discover these spaces that are so close to Lleida! |
